San Franciscan Victorian DSFDF Challenge
My painting for Karin Jurick's challenge site, Different Strokes From Different Folks . It really is fun, because the challenge photo is not always what you would choose to paint.

For some reason it takes a while your blog to load! But worth the wait I'm waving to the gal in the window!
I really like that you put yourself in the painting - very nice touch!
I'm just a silly gal! Teacher Tim recommended a warm glaze over the building to give the painting contract from the cool sky.

I love that you're in the window...a modern day Rapunzel? Also like your thick impasto sky and turret...gives a sense of age and history to the building.
