Now, this is funny, I don't care who you are!

Obviously, I liked this pose. Had already painted it in August of 2009, but didn't realize it until yesterday! Both paintings have one 3 hour session...I figure I should finish at least one of them, what'cha think? Same same, but different!

OMG! A painting a week? OH, no, say it ain't so, Joe!

I forced me to be slow, and still got to this point in 3 1/2 hours. She still needs work, obviously, but no more than I've been able to paint for the past 6 months I'm happy.

Here is the stopping point today: She looks pretty good until you compare with the photo...and, yes, I signed it because I like to carve into the wet paint. Doesn't stop me from going back into it again, though. Her skin needs toned down.

There is a slideshow at the bottom :)

"7 Stroke to Place" April Challenge

Well, this month was a REAL challenge. Thank you Robin! We've all stewed over this one. I almost did watercolor, but then decided to try Chinese technique in thin oil.

I think I had 9 strokes, plus some wipe-out. no white. See my slideshow at the bottom! Great Job guys...this was a tough one...:)
