May 2012 Moses Botkin Challenge - Indigenous Tree

Mary Maxam concocted the challenge this month...a tree from our area. These trees are typical of Northwest Arkansas, not so many evergreens so it can get bare in the winter.

Vicki, Nice atmosphere in this piece. The light sparkling through the trees is almost spiritual.

thanks, Mark! I've been contemplating glazing down the big lights...but you might have made me reconsider...Funny how they look so much brighter in the photo than in person.

Hey 'lil Suz! Thanks so much...total departure for me. BUT, I enjoyed it. Most tonalism is dark and foreboding, but this being sunrise gave the opportunity for some pretty color.
